My last pick, thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs, did not win. 3 out of the 4 teams covered the spread without the tease, but of course, without the Chiefs coming through, the bet is still a loser. That's why this week, we're going old school. No multiple team teasers or parlays- we’re going straight up. My pick this week is going to be the Houston Texans (+8.5) against the Kansas City Chiefs.
I think this will be the best game of week 6. You’ve got 2 of the most exciting quarterbacks in the game going against 2 bad defenses. The Chief’s roster is still banged up, and it is still unsure if Tyreke Hill and Sammy Watson will be playing in the game. Patrick Mahomes hasn’t played well the last two weeks, only throwing one touchdown pass in both games. The Chiefs defense has also been terrible in stopping the run in the last two weeks against the Lions and the Colts. The Texans have momentum and this would be a huge win for quarterback Deshaun Watson. The Texans are 6-2 in their last 8 games on the road. I think either the Texans or the Chiefs will win by a field goal in this game, which, in either case, will still cover the spread.
