It’s another week to make some money. My pick last week didn’t quite turn out as it resulted in a push due to a pick six late in the game by the backup quarterback for the Patriots. While last week's bet didn’t win, it also didn’t lose and you got your money back. We don’t bet for pushes though, we bet to win and that's why I’m telling you this week to take the Atlanta Falcons (-4) over the Tennessee Titans.
The Atlanta Falcons are simply a much better football team than the Tennessee Titans and are playing at home. The Falcons’ offense is going to be able to move the ball down the field against this Titans team. The quarterback for the Titans, Marcus Mariota, has not been good through the first 3 games. His offensive line cannot protect him as he’s been sacked the most in the league and was sacked 9 times last week against the Jaguars.
It seems the Mariota experiment may be coming to an end as their has been some chatter this week that if he doesn’t have a good game he could wind up being benched. The Falcons quarterback, Matt Ryan, plays better when he’s at home and I’d expect him to have a big game. To me this line should of been at 6 or 6.5 and I love when Vegas gives me free points. Falcons win 28-14 over the Titans.
