“You are now, and you do become, what you think about.” - Earl Nightingale, The Strangest Secret.
You become what you think. If you think you’re poor, then you will stay poor. If you think you will become wealthy, then you will become wealthy. We must speak it into existence and into the world. Don’t keep it in your head as a dream. Declare it out loud and take action. If you’ve declared it to the world, then the obstacles life throws at you will test you. We need resolve, discipline, behavioral changes, and a plan that works to get you to your goals. So, if you’ve failed try again.
I come from a family that filed bankruptcy and then the following year they filed for divorce. I was just turning eighteen when all of this happened. Everything I knew was shattered. At the time I thought it was like the game of monopoly. I thought we were going to lose everything we had. I began to work hard. I worked through college while playing baseball, attending classes, and studying. I know what failure is and I know what hard work is. I found the right people, and I kept them in my corner to keep my plan in front of me because this type of fight doesn’t end overnight like the world, social media, and the news make it out to be.
Romans 12:2 says, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (NKJV)
If you want different results, then do something different. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Stop driving yourself insane or allowing someone you love to go insane.
What are you going to do?
Want to take action, but don’t know where to begin?
Know someone that could use this? Then I would love the opportunity to serve and help transform your or a friend’s finances. Step into a better world by transforming it.
Here to serve,
